The following is a set of rules and guidelines for the CavePvP Network. This post most rules on our network with punishment times. If you have any further questions on the rules please contact an administrator or above. Above all, use common sense. if something feels wrong just don't do it.



Server Chat Rules


Spam

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 30 Minute Mute
Third Offence - 1 Hour Mute


Chat Flood

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 15 Minute Mute
Third Offence - 1 Hour Mute


Toxicity

First Offence - 1 Hour Mute
Second Offence - 4 Hour Mute
Third Offence - 1 Day Mute


Server Disrespect

First Offence - 8 Hour Mute
Second Offence - 12 Hour Mute
Third Offence - 2 Day Mute

Any Offence - Permanent Mute


Staff Disrespect

Death Threats / Suicide Encouragement

Using global chat for the purposes of Trading, Advertisements, and Sales

Racial Discrimination

First Offence - 1 Day Mute

Insulting the dead

Any Offence - 7 Day Mute


Player Harassment

First Offence - 1 Day Mute
Second Offence - 7 Day Mute

Internet Threats (Depending on severity)

This rule applies to any serious threats that a player sends to another. Including but not limited to, DDoS, Dox, Swat, Bomb. Players may also not engage in comedy revolving around any of the subjects mentioned.

Illegal Modifications
This includes any modification that gives the player an unfair advantage against others. This includes but is not limited to, the use of Cheats, Xray Texture Packs, Macros, or Butterfly/Drag Clicking.

First Offence - 1 Hour Ban
Second Offence - 1 Day Ban

Abuse of /report, /request, and /helpop

First Offence -30 Minute Ban
Second Offence - 12 Hour Ban
Third Offence - 1 Day Ban


Griefing (Depending on severity)

First Offence (Minor) - 1 Day Ban
Second Offence (Minor) 7 Day Ban
First Offence (Major) - 7 Day Ban
Second Offence (Major - 30 Day Ban


PvP Protection / Timer Abuse

Any Offence - 1 Hour Ban


Scamming (In-Game is Allowed)

Any Offence - Punishment at Head Staff's discretion


Allying (Allowed on KitMap)

First Offence - 1 Day Ban
Second Offence - 7 Day Ban
Third Offence - 14 Day Ban
Fourth Offence - 30 Day Ban


Illegal Traps (Suffocation/Drowning)

First Offence - 12 Hour Ban
Second Offence - 1 Day Ban
Third Offence - 5 Day Ban

Anvil / Pot Spamming

First Offence - 15 Minute Ban
Second Offence - 30 Minute Ban
Third Offence - 1 Hour Ban


Kick and Kill / Reverse Kick and Kill

Minecart / Boat Glitching

First Offence - 12 Hour Ban

Third Offence - 7 Day Ban


Purposefully ruining a partner’s recording/stream

First Offence - 1 Day Ban
Second Offence - 3 Day Ban
Third Offence - 7 Day Ban


Dupe Glitching

Any Offence - Punishment at Admin’s Discretion


Alternate Accounts / Ban Evasion

Any Offence - Permanent Ban


Freezing Minecraft

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 1 Day Ban
Third Offence - 3 Day Ban
Fourth Offence - 7 Day Ban


Intentionally Causing Server Lag

First Offence - 5 Day Ban
Any further offence - Punishment at admin’s discretion.

Third Offence - 1 Day Ban
Fourth Offence - 5 Day Ban


DTR Boosting

First Offence - 1 Day Ban on both accounts.
Second Offence - 7 Day Ban on both accounts.
Third Offence - 14 Day Ban on both accounts.
Fourth Offence - 30 Day Ban on both accounts.


Block Glitching

First Offence - Warn
Second Offence - 8 Hour Ban
Third Offence - 1 Day Ban
Fourth Offence - 7 Day Ban


Kill Boosting

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 1 Day Ban
Third Offence - 7 Day Ban


Slave Labor

First Offence - 3 Day Ban
Second Offence - 7 Day Ban
Any further offences - Punishment at Staff's discretion


Scumming

First Offence - 4 Hour Ban
Second Offence - 1 Day Ban

Inappropriate Faction Names

First Offence - 1 Day Ban

Being an overall jerk

First Offence (Staff) - 30 Minute Teamspeak Ban
Second Offence (Staff) - 2 Hour Teamspeak Ban (Repeat for future offences)
First Offence (Player Reported) - Warning
Second Offence (Player Reported) - 1 Hour Teamspeak Ban (Repeat for future offences)


Soundboarding

First Offence - 10 Minute Teamspeak Ban
Second Offence - 1 Hour Teamspeak Ban
Third Offence - Permanent Teamspeak Ban (Appealable via our forums)


Racism / Bigotry

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 2 Hour Teamspeak Ban
Third Offence - 1 Day Teamspeak Ban (Repeat for future offences)


Inappropriate Channel Name

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - Channel creator will be banned from the teamspeak for 1 hour and the channel will be deleted (Repeat for future offences)


Inappropriate Teamspeak Username

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 1 Day Teamspeak Ban
Third Offence - 5 Day Teamspeak Ban (Repeat for future offences)


Teamspeak Ban Evasion

Any Offence - Teamspeak ban changed from temporary to permanent on the main account, and a 10 day temporary ban in-game


Threats
DDoS, Dox, Swat, Bomb, and any other type of malicious threat or any form of comedy revolving around the subjects mentioned above will result in harsh punishment

Any Offence - Permanent Teamspeak Ban and Blacklist in-game (If we can acquire their ign)


Abuse of permissions

First Offence - Warning
Second Offence - 2 Hour Teamspeak Ban
Third Offence - Rank removed and 2 hour teamspeak ban.
